Cubs Tackle the Elements for the 2025 District Cub Flag at Douglaswood
Eight teams from four adventurous Packs braved thunder, lightning, and lashings of rain at Douglaswood Scout Centre in an epic showdown for the 2025 District Cub Flag.
Over the course of the weekend, Cubs faced off across eight themed challenges, inspired by classic and modern TV favourites—from Fireman Sam to The Generation Game. Each challenge tested their Scouting spirit through teamwork, communication, and problem-solving.
Despite the dramatic weather, spirits soared. The clouds parted just in time on Saturday evening for an energetic mini Highland Games and a roaring campfire that brought everyone together in classic Cub style.
By Sunday, the competition came to a thrilling conclusion. 5th B Pack claimed the top spot, with 20th and 26th B Packs hot on their heels. All participants showed tremendous determination, resilience, and camaraderie, making this a weekend to remember.
A heartfelt thank you goes out to all the leaders, volunteers, and organisers who made the event possible. Rain or shine, the Cubs of Dundee District showed what true Scouting is all about.
