Nestled in the heart of Angus, 9 miles from Dundee City Centre just off the B978. Douglaswood Campsite offers the perfect setting for outdoor adventures, group activities, and unforgettable memories. With a rich history rooted in Scouting traditions, Douglaswood has been a home for outdoor learning and fun for generations. From tent pitches to woodland trails, and activity areas to campfire circles, we have everything you need to make your stay special.

There are many places within a 10 mile radius that can be perfect for a day off site. Dundee has a variety of activities such as cinemas , McManus galleries and ice arena as well as many historic sites such as the RRS Discovery, Frigate Unicorn and Verdant Works. Monikie Country Park is a 5 minute drive from our site and provides a wide range of activities as well as ranger guided activities. Crombie country park is also nearby only a 10 minute drive and provides a range of water sports as well as a guided nature walk.
