Welcome to Beaver Scouts

Beaver Scouts is the youngest section of the Scouting family, designed for boys and girls aged 6 to 8 years old. It’s the perfect introduction to the fun, friendship, and adventure of Scouting!

What Do Beaver Scouts Do?

Beaver Scouts take part in a wide variety of exciting activities, including:

  • Playing games and making friends.
  • Exploring the outdoors and going on short trips.
  • Learning new skills and trying creative crafts.
  • Taking part in team challenges and problem-solving tasks.
  • Going on sleepovers and day camps for their first taste of nights away from home.

Beaver Scouts meet weekly in small groups called Colonies. Each session is packed with activities to help them grow in confidence, work as a team, and develop their independence.
